Are you on track with your weight loss goals for 2012? If yes, that’s great and I CONGRATULATE you. Not many can say that because they are either slacking or have given up by now. No worries, if you’re not on track, no need to continue making excuses, it’s time to productively do something about it now more so than later. Begin by setting yourself up on a program that will help you reach your weight loss goals and then be as consistent as possible. Modify your schedule if you have to by either M-W-F or T -Th-Sat with Sundays off. If you have time on Sundays to exercise, that’s fine just as long as your remember to skip a day in between allowing for rest. My best advice is to start now and do not wait another day. Always, remember to rest in between your exercise routines. The old saying goes something like this, “Why put off tomorrow what you can do today?” Don’t waste anymore time making excuses. Do whatever you need to do to get started. Another month is quickly approaching and before you know it, the spring and summer months will be here. It will soon be time to take off the winter clothes and put on the summer clothes. If you are considering your weight loss program, evaluate what you’re eating and also, make sure that you are consistent. As you continue or as you are beginning your weight loss journey, here are a few tips to strongly consider:

I highly recommend the 7 Minute Workout Program that you can do from the comfort of your own home. I like the program because of the support group and the fact that it gives me motivation to help me stay on track with reaching my overall fitness goals. Though, I’m not on the program for weight loss, it helps me with toning my body in terms of losing inches around my belly. I am big on the fact that healing yourself includes being at your desired weight.

I also strongly encourage that you recheck your diet and what you are consuming on a regular basis. Here’s a great article on nutrition to help with understanding the importance of nutrients. Though you may be very familiar with this type of information, it doesn’t hurt to reiterate how important proteins, fats, and carbohydrates are in the diet. Click here to review the article.

By the way, if your bowels are not regular, this is something that you may want to pay particular attention to. No matter what you do, it’s important to release on a daily basis in order to rid your body of toxins and waste. Definitely, get checked and do what you have to do to get your body working properly. In order to lose weight, this is a very important part in body health.

Also, take a good look at your nutrition when it comes to weight loss is very important. If you’re not consuming fruits and vegetables on a daily basis, it is very important that you do so. Another great site that I recommend is JuicePlus+. I have been taking JuicePlus+ Whole Food Nutrition for almost eight years now and I must say, that my visits to the doctor are very little next to none. Unlike most people, I believe in going to the doctor for maintenance more so than anything. If I can avoid getting into a state of sickness by measures that I can take, I do what I can when I can. It’s very true and I’m happy to say that I avoid sick visits like the plague. My hope is that others can experience what I experience when it comes to health. Ultimately, I’m providing the information and it’s up to you to take action for yourself.

Another great point that I would like to mention here is the importance of water! Get up in the morning and drink a glass of refreshing water. Having a glass of water first thing in the morning is more important to me than anything I consume when I first awaken. Drink glasses of water throughout the day to help replenish your body. I can’t stress enough how important water is to the body. Instead of grabbing soda, grab a glass of water! Before going the bed at night, let water be your last drink. It’s simply refreshing and it feels better. I’ve just started on Alkaline water. It’s too soon to talk about the way it makes me feel but so far so great! Alkaline water has been known to help with weight loss along with other things. I will keep you posted.

Lastly but not least, please get an adequate amount of rest! Rest plays a very important role in helping with the ability to lose weight. By the way, if you’re looking for a great way to rest your body, treat yourself to a Reiki Healing session. I practice Reiki daily and it’s so relaxing to me. Rest and relaxation are the key components to recovery and healing within the body. I will not go into all the details here in this post as to why rest is so important but, I’m sure that if you’re reading this, you have a pretty good reason as to why. So, without anymore excuses being made…please rest and find time for relaxation!

Well, I hope that the tips above were very helpful to you. If you have any comments to make or would like to share a few tips that you have, please do so below. I would love to hear from you and how you’re doing with your weight loss program! Until next time…

All the best,

So many people today are trying to lose and maintain a healthy weight. There are so many pills, potions, tricks, books and DVD’s available that one might get frazzled just trying to figure out where to start. One very common weight loss method is to lose weight through calorie restriction. A calorie is an expression of food energy.

Calorie restriction is a way of dieting when you purposely reduce or limit the amount of calories that you would normally eat in a day. One who is trying to lose weight using this method, would tally their calories for each day, trying to stay within the same caloric range.

The trick to calorie restriction is making sure you eat enough in a day so that you aren’t hungry, while reducing your calories enough to lose weight. If you make wise food choices you can do just that.

You can find the caloric count for many foods on the nutrition labels provided on food packagings, since many governments require food manufacturers to provide the energy content of their products.

As you start to get familiar with the caloric count for the foods you normally eat you can then evaluate if these foods are helpful or detrimental to your weight loss plan.

You will notice that many healthier foods carry a lower caloric value unlike their unhealthy fat laden counterparts. You could easily eat enough calories for an entire day if you are not careful.

Try to cook and prepare your own foods when you can. This way you will know exactly how much sugar, mayonnaise, cheese, milk, butter or oil is used.

When you prepare your own foods you can easily omit or drastically reduce the amount of fattening or unhealthy ingredients.

If you need to purchase your meals at restaurants, check to see if they offer a website with the nutritional values for their products.
Many companies are doing so to cater to the health conscience who want to know the caloric or fat count in the foods they intend to eat.

There are ebooks, books, videos and plenty of websites available to further help you to lose weight through calorie restriction.

All the best,

Achieving Your Weight Loss Goals

Losing weight is on the to do list of many people. People of all ages, races and genders suffer from being overweight, obese or morbidly obese. Being overweight can put a huge strain on the human body.

Carrying around extra weight can cause major health problems like heart disease, diabetes and hypertension. This can lead to high medical bills and daily medications.

The majority of those who are overweight desperately want to lose weight. Some will try almost anything to lose weight, like super restrictive diet plans, yo yo dieting, pills, powders and potions, work out DVD’s, gym memberships and even weight loss surgery.

Many in the beginning are excited and gung ho about losing weight and then as time passes it just doesn’t happen causing major disappointment, either due to a faulty plan or lack of willpower. For others weight loss sits on the back burner as something they have been meaning to do but not a top priority.

Some want to lose weight to fit in with their peers. They feel that they must be thin to win. Unfortunately in our society people are often judged by their looks and weight ,which can be extremely damaging to the self esteem of one who is overweight as their feelings of self worth begin to dwindle. One doesn’t have to be rail thin to be healthy and many times this way of thinking is what leads to harmful eating disorders.

The Reason Many Are Over their normal weight.

Logically one may think that one is overweight because they eat too much food or that they don’t pay attention to the types of foods they eat. This is partially right because gluttony is a major problem for many who are obese or morbidly obese.

However it isn’t the only culprit to blame. The reason why many are overweight is because we have it too easy and have become dependable on modern conveniences.

In this day and time there is so much technology available to us that people often forget what we did before we had those things. Years ago if you wanted to send a letter to a friend you would need to sit down, pen the letter and then you would put in into a stamped envelope which you went out to purchase.

You would then take the envelope with the letter enclosed and walk to mailbox which might be a block or so away from where you live and wait for a few days for it to arrive at it’s intended destination.

Now if you want to send a friend a letter you can type it in minutes on your laptop or desktop computer hit the send button in your email account and boom it’s done. Some people can even use their cell phones to do this task. The letter gets to your friend within minutes instead of days no matter where they may happen to be in the world.

If you wanted groceries, years ago, you had to either hop in the car and drive down to the nearest supermarket or get on public transportation and get off at the stop closest to the nearest supermarket. You would then grab a shopping cart and walk around the supermarket aisle after aisle putting things into your cart until you had all the groceries off of your list.

You would then head over to the nearest checkout counter where you would stand in line until it was your turn. Depending on how crowded that market was it could be a while before you were rang up and on your way home to put your groceries away. The same applied to clothing, shoe and appliance shopping.

Now there are so many choices when it comes to grocery shopping or shopping in general for that matter. You really don’t even need to leave your home at all. All you have to do is get on your computer, head over to your favorite shopping site to create your online grocery list and pay for your items.

Someone else takes the time to gather your items for you, saving you the hassle of having to shop and brings the groceries to your home where all you have to do is put them away. If you want clothes, shoes or appliances there are a plethora of online shops that send everything your way in a matter of days or overnight if you are willing to pay the higher shipping cost.

You can shop whenever you want to. It doesn’t matter if it’s three am on a Sunday morning because online shopping stores never close.

How easy and amazing is that? Does this mean that emailing a friend and shopping online are bad. Not at all. These are only two examples of how modern conveniences have taken the place of people getting up and moving around.

Another culprit is something that may seem like a fun time to many. How nice is it to be able to sit down and play a video game or an online game. Some of these games are interactive, which means you can compete against your friends no matter where they are in the world.

Some games even put you in a virtual world where you can have so much fun you literally get lost for hours as you create farms, form tactical military teams and bake virtual cakes. These types of games are normally played sitting down.

For children and adults alike, playing games can be very addictive making for a very sedentary lifestyle which in turn causes weight gain due to the lack of exercise and movement. Many people are stuck in front of their television sets and computer monitors instead of being outside in the sunshine enjoying the fresh air.

It’s okay to enjoy modern conveniences but sometimes you need to switch it up. Try walking to the mailbox once in a while, doing your own shopping, take the stairs instead of the elevator or just getting some fresh air walking around outside, foregoing games just for a little while. You can even bring a friend to keep you company.

Over time these small but important changes in your physical activity could cause you to begin losing weight.

The Reason That Some Overeat.

For many portion control is a huge problem. Many simply don’t know how much a serving size is and this causes them to overeat constantly. Over time overeating greatly contributes to weight gain. If you live a sedentary lifestyle and don’t practice portion control you can almost guarantee that you will gain weight. Weight gain leads to obesity and obesity leads to many health issues.

The saying less is more certainly doesn’t apply when it comes to eating at various restaurants. Some of their portions, especially in the fast food industry, are so huge that two or three people could have a meal from just one of their so called good value meals.

Is it really a good value if one meal is giving you more calories than the amount you would need for a whole entire day? Is it a good value if the food is laden with harmful fats, chemicals and full of grease which is not healthy for you? Over time eating this way can lead to many serious health issues like breast cancer, coronary heart disease, sleep apnea and other respiratory ailments.

In life there are consequences for everything we do whether negative or positive. Food is no exception to this rule. If you frequently fill yourself to the brim with bad foods you can expect bad things to happen.

On that same note if you eat sensible and exercise restraint when it comes to portion size you can expect good things to happen. If you are overweight, obese or morbidly obese this type of change can cause you to start dropping unwanted pounds.

You have the ability to make choices. You don’t have to order the most fat laden dish on the menu. You don’t have to choose the ultra large version of the meal. You can substitute healthier food choices for not so healthy foods and you can cut back on the amount of junk food you ingest. All of these little changes can lead to weight loss and better health.

The Reason That Many Don’t Lose The Weight.

Often the lack of a good plan is not to blame for the lack of weight loss. In fact many people who try to lose weight have had access to multiple plans during the time that they were trying to shed excess pounds.

Many times excuses and procrastination are to blame for the lack of ones weight loss. Many simply don’t feel like putting in the required work to lose weight in a healthy and steady way. People want things now. They lack patience and persistence which is required to lose weight along with consistency.

Even though logic strongly dictates that if the weight didn’t pile on overnight then it most certainly shouldn’t be lost overnight, many just don’t see it that way.

Common excuses not to lose weight:

It it will never work for me.

I don’t have the time.

I’ll start it next week, next month or after the new year.

I’m not ready.

I have a family reunion, date, holiday or special event coming up.

I can’t give up the foods I love.

I don’t like working out.

At the same time that they are rejecting starting a weight loss journey, procrastinating and coming up with excuse after excuse, many get excited when they see new diet plans and methods hit the market, because deep down they really do want to shed those excess pounds.

Each new infomercial has them ready to dial. Sometimes they actually purchase weight loss and fitness plans only to reject them once they arrive at their home.

It is not uncommon to see someone who has tried to lose weight with multiple fitness and weight loss plans. Many times they have never successfully done a full plan.

If you purchase a plan, it was set up to work the way that the creator planned it out. When you change this and that you ultimately are changing the plan and can not be surprised when you don’t achieve expected results.

Every plan isn’t for everyone so when choosing a plan, do your homework and fully research it so you don’t waste either your money or your time.

Repeatedly trying new diets which causes frequent ups and downs on the scale is what’s known as Yo Yo dieting. This style of dieting can be very harmful to the body. If you find a plan that suits you stick to it so you slowly and steadily lose weight.

The Reason You Can Lose Weight And Gain Better Health.

You can lose weight, even if you have messed up in the past. If some of the reasons many don’t lose weight as we have discussed in this report apply to you, change it. If you don’t like something, don’t keep doing it. It really is that simple. Every day is a new chance for you to strive and work harder at achieving your weight loss goals.

Sometimes we tend to make things a lot harder for us than it really is by over-thinking and self sabotaging ourselves before we can see the success that we are craving.

Dismiss Bad Thoughts.

You may not be able to control a non helpful, disturbing bad thought from creeping into your head but you can replace it with a positive, success striving, helpful thought.

Replace can’t with cans or I will try. Because you truly don’t know until you try. Speculation gets you no where. Doing things the same way that you have always done them will only get you the same results that you have already achieved.

Make Healthy Choices.

Opt for water over sodas and sugar laden drinks.

Eat more fruits and vegetables.

Swap out unhealthy ingredients for healthier ingredients when cooking so you will still be able to enjoy your favorite foods.

Expand your food horizons and try new healthy foods that you have never tasted before. You just might find a new favorite.

Get the whole family involved, cook your new healthy tasty dishes for everyone alleviating the need to cook two separate meals.

Get Moving!

Opt not to use the car to run errands that are close by your home. Walking four blocks here and three blocks there add up over time.

Exercise at least twice a week. Start off slowly so you don’t overwhelm or hurt yourself. You can always build up the frequency, type and amount of exercises you do as your body get used to move around and you begin to develop endurance.
Take breaks when using the computer or playing video games. Get up and move around, go walk around the block, stretch or walk up and down the stairs. Not only is this movement good for weight loss but it is also good for your circulation.

Avoid Making Excuses, Self Sabotaging And Procrastinating.

Do it now. Nothing is more important than your health.

Research, find and implement a workable plan. Avoid Yo Yo dieting at all cost.

Know that others before you have successfully achieved their weight loss goals and you can too.

Know that you are worth something whether you are overweight or not. Your self worth is not measured by the numbers you get when you stand on the scale.

Get professional help if need be to rebuild your self esteem or if you are severely depressed. If you are in a better frame of mind you will be more apt to stick to your plan and achieve your desired goals.

Make reasonable goals. You will not be disappointed if your goals are actually doable. Everyone cannot lose 20lbs in a month but many can lose 1lb or more a week when using some type of weight loss plan.

Make and celebrate your mini goals. You may need to lose 100lbs but why not break that big goal down into 4 mini goals? Reward yourself at each 25lb increment as you lose the weight. Buy yourself a new outfit or new work out DVD or a new book that you have been dying to read.
Don’t use food as a reward. If you want something it is better to have it in moderation. When you deprive yourself of something and then use it as a prized reward to celebrate a momentous occasion like losing 50lbs it is all too easy to lose your head and begin eating too much of the prized food which can restart the cycle of overeating that particular food all over again.

While healthy food choices may be a little more costly than their fat and chemical laden counterparts, how much more costly are medications that you may have to take for the rest of your life or surgeries and various medical procedures needed to save your life?
Being unhealthy is expensive! There isn’t anything worth more than your life. Spending some now may keep you from spending twice as much later.

You Can Do It!

Losing weight is not a lost cause if you haven’t had success in the past. You have to find what works for you and stick to it. Getting down to and maintaining a healthy weight can be the best gift you ever give yourself as you avoid or move away from the effects of obesity like hypertension, heart attacks, arthritis and death.

Create goals that you would like to achieve no matter how small or big. With a reasonable amount of time you can achieve your weight loss goals. Learn to think healthy by reading ingredients before you purchase in the supermarket or by making healthy swaps.

Believe in yourself and love yourself because there is only one you and no one can be you better than you can. Treat yourself right, avoid harmful thinking and practices that can stifle weight loss. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it and never ever give up until you achieve your goals.

What are you doing to achieve your weight loss goals? Please leave a comment below.

To your success!

As a Wellness Coach for Women, I often get asked how often should you weigh yourself ? When trying to lose weight and you’re on a weight loss or reduction program, you should definitely know your starting weight so you can track how much weight you lose over a set period of time. You may be wondering how often you should weigh yourself or if you should weigh yourself daily.

The answer will vary greatly from person to person on any weight loss/reduction plan because some prefer to weigh in daily where others may choose to only weigh themselves once a week or even once a month. Weigh yourself based on your goals and what makes you feel best.

There are pros and cons for each weigh in method. When weighing daily you can easily track your weight day by day by seeing how you go up and down of the scale.

However, this can be frustrating for some because body weight naturally fluctuates. You could literally weigh five pounds more tomorrow than you did today and then the next day you could be back at your normal weight.

Weighing in daily isn’t good for someone who is easily frustrated or one who puts too much emphasis on the scale.

Weekly weigh ins are good because you can consistently track your weight week by week. You can compare your weight loss over time with whatever foods you have eaten during that week if you track those too.

This can help you learn which foods work best for you while you are trying to lose weight. Weighing in weekly can also have a negative affect on those who cheat on their diet all week long and then try to starve themselves a day or two before weigh in day.

When weighing in weekly try to stay consistent with whatever food and exercise plan you are utilizing to avoid disappointment when you jump on the scale each week.

If you are on a weight loss/reduction program, by weighing yourself monthly you can track your weight on a month by month basis and avoid daily or weekly disappointments on days and weeks that no weight loss occurs.

Weighing monthly can help you focus on the weight loss as a whole and not just a little here and a little there. You will never notice the ups and downs if you stay on track with your plan.

However some need the strictness of a weekly or daily weigh in to help keep them on track because waiting a whole month is too long for them. They can’t stay focused and fall into traps of not exercising or using moderation with eating.

They feel that they have all month to get it together and after three to four weeks in a row of not staying on track it can result in little or no weight loss.

If you are wondering “How often should I weigh myself?” think about your weight loss plan and how well you stick to it. Evaluate the pros and cons of weighing daily, weekly and monthly before making your decision.

Just how often do you weigh yourself and do you find yourself being consistent with the weight loss process? Please comment below!

Thanks!

Here are ten healthy weight loss habits to help you as you start out on your weight loss journey. Remember that small changes really can add up to big results over time.

1. Drink plain water. It is much better for you than soda and is calorie free. You will not gain any weight from drinking water.

2. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are very nutritious and a helpful source of fiber and vitamins.

3. Make time for exercise whether it is vigorous or not. Make time to add some form of exercise into your life, even if it is only five minutes.

Some exercise is better than none at all. You can build up energy for working out over time but you need to start some where.

4. Avoid stress as much as possible to avoid emotional eating. Learn what your triggers are and get away from them when at all possible.

5. Do not bring foods into your home that cause you to lose control . If it is not there then you cannot eat it. You can always reintroduce these foods later.

6. Do not leave the house hungry so you are not tempted to eat the first thing you see whether it is healthy or not. Have a slight snack or a meal when possible to avoid eating a meal you might regret later.

7. No self sabotaging. Do not set yourself up for failure by being negative. You are not the only person on this planet who is overweight or who is trying to lose weight. Others have lost weight and so can you. It is not impossible!

8. Be sure to get enough rest. This way you don’t have to depend or sugary sweets and fat laden fancy coffees to get you through the day.

9. Find a plan and stick to it. If you fail to plan then you plan to fail. Whether you are using a plan that you have created yourself or a widely known weight loss plan used by many, you will fare much better if you have some sort of rhyme or reason to aid you on your weight loss journey.

10. When you fall you must get back up. Many times we attempt to lose weight and fail for various reasons. However that does not mean that you are a failure. Pick yourself up and start again. If you mess up at one meal get right back on track at the next meal.

If you implement what you have learned from these ten healthy weight loss habits you will be on the path towards weight loss success.

Please share what you think may be your most successful weight loss habit in the comment area below.

How do you plan to reach your overall wellness goals in the New Year? The logical answer maybe for you to take the necessary steps to get there. Those steps may include eating healthier, exercising, and taking time out for self. These answers may or may not be very well true for you but, in order to be successful in meeting goals, it’s very important to create balance for yourself. Whatever your tasks are or the steps you plan to take, always think of how to balance out those steps throughout each and everyday.

As a Wellness Coach for women, I advise setting goals around each one of the major life areas ( physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial). Focus on taking the time out to work on each individual area in order to achieve overall wellness. When you set goals for yourself, make sure they support each area of your life. Seriously evaluate and be honest with yourself about how you plan to reach your goals. If you are lacking anywhere within the major areas, work on achieving balance where needed. As you focus on each of the above mentioned components, make it a year of creating a new you while maintaining balance for you.

Please be sure to share your comment below on how you intend to create and maintain balance for overall wellness throughout the year and always.

Have a Wonderful and Happy New Year and Enjoy the Happy New You!!!

The holiday season is my most favorite time of the year! Not that any other part of the year is any less important but, it’s the time of the year when we should think about not only what we are doing for others but most importantly, what we are doing for ourselves. To the wonderful women who are for wellness in their lives, please answer these questions:

When was the last time you pampered yourself with a spa treatment (massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, etc…)?

When was the last time you took a nice soak in a tub with candles in complete quiet?

When was the last time you read a good book for your enjoyment or personal development?

When was the last time you exercised or did some sort of health routine?

When was the last time you took the time out for yourself just being?

When was the last time you went out to a nice restaurant and had a delicious meal?

When was the last time you didn’t have the word “rush” in your vocabulary?

When was the last time you just sat in quiet without interruption from the kid(s), spouse, pet(s), etc?

When was the last time you turned your computer off or anything with a cord for the day?

When was the last time you made it a “me” day?

All of the above questions relate to ways of de-stressing yourself and if you answered ” I can’t remember” to any of them, as a wellness coach, my advice to you is to take this time of the year to focus on de-stressing. While you are doing for others, don’t forget to do for yourself.

Get a nice spa treatment which will help uplift your spirit and invigorate your body. After you get that wonderful massage, go home and soak in a nice relaxing tub of water with your favorite candles or scent. Relax and release the tension. Pick out a great book for your enjoyment and if you have to schedule in the time to read it, do so. Start working on your body now….don’t wait until the New Year to begin a wellness program. The sooner you start, the better you will feel. Get in the habit of exercising which can be an enjoyable experience if you let it be. Exercise routines don’t have to be long and drawn out in order for them to be effective. Let go of the excuses that keep you away from maintaining your body for better health and wellness. With all of the above said and done, take time to just “be”. Even if it’s 15 minutes in the morning and/or evening, make it a point to take the time. During this holiday season, arrange to eat at a nice restaurant and enjoy the ambiance of the atmosphere while you enjoy the great taste of delicious healthy food. Remove the word rush from your daily routine and take this time of the year to take your time. All year, you may be rushing to get to work, rushing to get the kids off to school, rushing to the grocery store, rushing to the doctor’s appointment, even rushing to fall asleep!LOL The point is, take the time to take your time when you travel to and from your destinations. Take the time to get away from the kids, spouses, pets, etc… Just as you need their space, they need theirs too! When you quiet your surroundings, you quiet your mind. Disconnect all electronic devices that have the potential to disrupt your de-stressing routine. Last but not least, make room for a “ME” day! There is nothing like the blessing of de-stressing!

May your Holiday season be filled with lots of LOVE, JOY, HAPPINESS, PEACE, and DE-STRESSING so that you may pass along the blessing to many others!!! Let’s make this a de-stressing holiday season once and for ALL.

Please comment below on your greatest de-stressing tactic!:-)

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!!!

As a wellness coach for women seeking weight loss/reduction and overall wellness, I recommend following these six steps to help make your wellness program a success. It is very important that you pay more attention to your body. Do away with the days of forgetting to take care of you first. Wellness begins with saying “hello” to your body as you follow the simple “hello” steps below.

Say Hello and Give Thanks
As you move along on a daily basis incorporating your wellness routine into your program, always start the day off with giving thanks! Be thankful for where you are today. Giving thanks helps set the foundation for my entire day. Be thankful for the body that you are in and appreciate where you are now.

Say Hello and Drink Water
Before you put anything in your mouth, drink a glass a water first and foremost. Do this while saying hello to yourself. Enjoy every drop as you contribute to the awakening of your cells.

Say Hello and Take Your Supplements
As for myself, I take my fruit and vegetable supplements first thing in the morning. I also take my health drink which consist of 1 teaspoon of Bragg Vinegar with Apple Cider Juice. This makes me feel really great! There is nothing like awakening to a “break-fast” and giving the body a nutritional boost!

Say Hello and Eat Fresh Fruit
Apart from taking my supplements on a daily basis, I make it a point to eat fresh fruit first thing in the morning. Eating a piece of live fruit is very healthy for the body.

Say Hello and Meditate
Always take the time out for yourself to go within daily. Relax your mind and take the time to listen to your body.

Say Hello and Look in the Mirror
Go to the mirror and look at yourself. Affirm that you can do whatever you put your mind to and most importantly tell yourself that you love YOU!

The simple steps above can be done in any order. If you’ve implemented any or all of these steps into your daily regimen, I would love to hear from you. Please comment below.

Enjoy!

As a Reiki practitioner/Wellness Coach for women who are seeking weight loss/reduction along with overall wellness, I highly recommend that you include Reiki as part of your wellness program. Based upon my experience, it is a highly effective holistic approach to weight loss/reduction and wellness. Reiki is very powerful when it comes to healing the body from the inside and out. It has the ability to heal where the healing needs to take place overall. Reiki combined with weight loss/wellness coaching has great benefits:

Reiki gives more energy.

Reiki helps your mind focus on your weight loss/reduction and wellness goals.

Reiki heals where the healing is needed within the body.

Reiki balances the energy centers helping to promote weight loss.

Reiki helps to guide you to make better overall decisions for yourself.

Being over weight, correlates to the manifestation of one or more energy centers showing up in the physical as out of balance. Since being out of balance creates problems both known and unknown within the body, Reiki is a healing mechanism used to help balance the energy centers.

My advice is to give Reiki a try and combine it with your weight loss/reduction or wellness program…you will be happy that you did!!!

If you are on a wellness program and are experiencing the benefits of Reiki, please share your thoughts and comments below.

Blessings,

As a wellness coach for women, and knowing how challenging it is for many women to lose weight naturally while meeting their fitness goals, I would like to say not to give up because with only 7 minutes per day in exercise, you can lose the extra weight and inches without the stress of rigid dieting or long and drawn out workouts. The best part about it all is that you will be making a healthy lifestyle change which will produce long term results. By following this particular plan and keeping things as simple as possible, your weight loss/reduction and wellness goals can definitely be reached!

Joel Therien, Founder and CEO, of the 7-Minute Workout Plan explains in detail how to be successful at reaching your weight loss and fitness goals. The most interesting point that he made is not to start your program with diet! Quite surprisingly, many people who are looking to lose weight have done completely the opposite than what he advises. When you hear how Joel and his fitness partner Chris break down the reason behind why you should not start with changing your diet, it makes so much sense. Joel encourages you in the beginning not to think about your diet too much. After listening to Joel explain the reason behind this, you may even have an “aha” moment which is when things will finally click. You will be on your way to successful weight loss for sure!

The 7-minute program is about weight loss and lifestyle change that’s good for the rest of your life. It’s not a temporary quick fix. The program changes your way of thinking when it comes to diet and exercise. As a wellness coach for women, I can definitely agree with Joel on the many points that are raised when it comes to meeting exercise goals. It is so true that when you think too much about what you’re eating especially in the beginning, it can be counter productive. I feel that when you enjoy what you’re eating, in turn, that makes the lifestyle change and the weight loss journey more enjoyable. It’s important to maintain your level of happiness at whatever you are doing. The way you feel about anything will determine how successful you will be. Needless to say, if you don’t enjoy what you’re eating, eventually you will give up what you don’t enjoy.

The 7-minute Weight Loss program shows that a fitness plan does not have to be stressful in order for it to work. So many people think that it’s necessary to exercise over long periods of time in order to see results. The best part is that with only 7-minutes a day and 3x per week, you can create a new you! As a wellness coach, I strongly recommend to keep your workouts short and to the point. It’s just easier to be consistent and in turn, you will see results.

If you’re serious about losing weight and you really want a program that works, my advice is to put your mind to it and just do it! Get in on this program and make it work for you. Joel explains step by step what you need to do to get started. Click here to learn more!

I would love to hear about what you are doing to meet your weight loss and wellness goals! If you like what you see in the 7-minute Weight Loss/Reduction program, please share your comment below.
